(Automotive) I use this product to paint the threads of a multi-part steel crucible that is inserted into a molten lead solder bather for up to 80 minutes at a time, at temperatures of 300-540 degrees Celsius. It works well to prevent most seizing, although as the product is used and you start to get down to the last amounts, it will start drying out and become a bit less effective.
